Parliament has given the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and other agencies an ultimatum to conclude investigations involving former senior officials in the energy sector over alleged manipulation of fuel stock data and procurement irregularities.
The probe involves former Petroleum Principal Secretary Mohamed Liban, former Kenya Pipeline Company Managing Director Joe Sang and former Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority Director-General Daniel Kiptoo, among other officials linked to questions over fuel imports, stock accounting and emergency procurement.
