Rose Mulwa and her two children have been detained in police custody as police investigate the murder of Dr Victoria Mutiso in Upper Hill last week.
Milimani Principal Magistrate Geoffrey Onsaringo allowed police to keep Mulwa, her son Chris and daughter Angela, a lawyer, behind bars.
"There is compelling evidence to warrant the detention of the suspects in custody, to enable homicide detectives to complete investigations before the DPP files a formal murder charge," the magistrate said.
Mulwa will be held at Kilimani Police Station for 21 days, while Chris will be held in Kileleshwa. Angela, meanwhile, is detained in Mavoko alongside suspected gunman Nelson Makarau, ahead of a court decision tomorrow on whether to hold them further.
Police are also seeking to detain Angela and Makarau for 21 days, pending investigations into the shooting.
